Deleting Plugs?
These Wall plugs are always in the way of placing furniture against the wall. Is there any way to delete them?

I agree, you can delete switch without issues, but the plugs are a real pain, you need to destroy the wall and then get rid of them on the floor, and if they are against an outside wall, you're screwed, need to keep the plug !

I agree the fittings, both electricaland plumbing are a pain. But the electrical sockets do highlight when you mouse over them, so i hope thats a good sign and that we will be able to interact with them at a later date.

Welp it's 2021 and you still can't delete plugs on outside walls which is a major pain since you can't place anything in front of it. Can screw up a kitchen design real fast. Can't believe they haven't fixed this issue after 2 years.

yup, it's still broken. Screwed up a bathroom conversion for me, although I could place the plumbing for a toilet in front of the socket I couldn't actually put the toilet there so I had to completely redesign the room

I use the sell tool for light switches and outlets too, unless I'm doing a job for someone or the socket has been broken. Then you can't sell it. Those brown/wooden ones get sold on sight, every last one of them.

Sometimes it is possible to insert a new window where the plug is. Then just sell it and the plug is no longer there. I've done it a few times and it worked.

Oh! This is great news! Those plugs at floor level always make me cranky! I'll try this!

If you use a long window like the "Sandra from floor" that will get rid of the outlet, and then allow you to put stuff right up to the wall
