Tiles and Paneling

At what point do these unlock? I am quite a few hours in but still can't work on the bathroom in the starter shack because it says tiling is not available yet.

Is there some job I need to be looking out for that unlocks it?

EDIT: As soon as I posted this, the next mission I accepted, added tiling.

Tiling and paneling unlocks with the "Additional Bathroom" request.

yeah i was going to suggest that as well that if you want a specific tool that the missions still havent given you or you just want to get it early and have the cash you can buy a house and get access to all tools.

I dont think they will all show on missions still as the missions only give you the specifc ones you need but in any of the homes you can flip/ your office you would have them all.

I started playing this again from the beginning since the garden update, and buying a house didn't work for me. The job that unlocked it for me was called "Everything to be refurbished".

I bought tiles after I bought a house, and although the tool was visible, the game said it wasn't available. Starting the "Additional Bathroom" quest unlocked it for me.

I too had to do the additional bathroom reno when I wanted to unlock it. I was mid reno in the first house I bought and had to go do that before I could tile my bathroom

Nope :/ im here fixing a bathroom in Connisours House and it still isn't unlocked.

yeah same here I bought a house yesterday and the tools are still locked until I do a specific side job
