Can't rotate items

for some reason there is no way to rotate objects. The game shows how to do it but when I press the scroll up or down nothing happens, the shift key and scroll also does nothing. Is this an issue others are having??? Its driving me nuts.

If you are having the same issue that I am having, it is not that you cannot rotate the item at all. I can rotate an Item on the horizontal plane. Basically spinning the item. SHIFT + Wheel seems to almost free rotate the item, however it is still on the same horizontal plane. I ran into the issue right away at home shack. I wanted to tilt the Sledgehammer back up against the wall after moving it and I was not able to. I assumed the SHIFT + wheel function would allow this as long as the the defined properties of the item were compatible, but it did not work. - Seems Broken

I can, I do not see an output_log.txt file, which file do you need specifcally. And for System info, do you just want the dxdiag file

My mouse wheel works in other games, but for some reason it doesn't let me rotate the objects in house flipper. Could developing either fix the bug or put in an option under control so you can switch how you rotate. Example: choices between "mouse wheel" or using keys "q" and "e" to rotate "left" and "right".

I feel like even fixing the bug I would prefer keys to rotate times since I think they will be able to be more percise. Also a key to automatically straighten the item would be great since many of the items I buy from the store are crocked and because I can't rotate them they dont fit together.

Minnkota that isnt my problem, my mouse wheel doesnt seem to work in game just like HungryHobbit's problem. It works fine for everything else but house flipper. I dont get it. Hopefully its a bug that will be fixed in the near future

I am having the same problem, too! I need an alternate way to rotate items like using q and e while holding shift.
