A workaround I have used for that specific (enter not working) issue is to press ESC and the menu that comes up should have [complete job] listed. Select it there to complete the job.
If that works... save and restart the game because that press enter thing is just the tip of the iceburg and the game has become unstable and likely will crash bugout more unless you restart it. I learned the hard way.... many times.
>>but when I press enter to complete the job nothing happens. << try pressing it twice.
Also complete them as mentioned use the Esc > then you see " complete order for x amount of dollars"
cheers
It actually does when the game is behaving. I did all the email orders and only had to use the esc option maybe 3 times. Usually once the required amount of work is done you can just press enter to finish the task and get paid.
I have the same problem. I cant finish the jobs with: Enter or ESC --> Finish Order.
You are supposed to be able to finish order by pressing the enter key. It's even in the game as you can see from this screenshot (upper left side or lower right corner).

So, saying that it is only for selling houses is false.
Yes, but it wont work...
Which is why I said "You are supposed to be able to finish...". There's been many issues with things not working at all or only working sometimes. We just have to wait for the devs to fix things.
So if that means enter I learn something new too :) Interesting..
I just used Esc.
Thats weird though. Why is there none on mine.
Maybe cause i built my system it is not an OEM Brand .
HF Devs using Del systems.
I googled it as i always wondered what those symbols meant.
And i found this
Here is a Unicode keyboard with that arrow symbol on the enter. Del keyboards. Laptops and screens have that arrow on Enter.

Explains how we can post different suggestions and add to the mess of bugs lol.
May apply to others who also donot have those symbols on the keyboard keys.
When I use Esc on an email order I see this. Will have try the enter :)
I do know the enter is used when selling houses as well.
