Trash glitch?

New to the game. I like to do 100%. but it seems like trash glitches out of existence. I will clear an entire room of furniture, and somehow there is still trash in it, even though it's completely empty. I found restarting the mission helps, and as long as I remove the trash first and do NOTHING ELSE (even accidentally click on furniture), I'll actually be able to remove all the trash.

this has been pretty annoying when I've put 20 minutes into cleaning a house to find out I can't complete the trash removal :(

Having this same problem, every "remove trash" objective is sitting at 97% or 98% when there's no visible trash in the house. Only since this most recent update.

Try removing the flat spread-out papers/cigarettes/tin can trash before anything else (can use the sell tool to select just one bit of trash to get around the AOE trash perk).

I was having similar problems on a bunch of maps when I was just picking stuff up randomly, but after carefully removing all those flat trash things first I could get to 100% trash pickup. Maybe they clip through the floor when they "settle" if you pick up anything else first? No idea, but oh well.

I had similar problem just half an hour ago trying to complete the Garden DLC "trash to gym" email/quest.(not sure what the exact name was/is). There was absolutely NO trash visible anywhere, still was only at 96% trash removal. It was my last email to get the Perfectionist achievement...after an hour, I gave up and completed it at 99%. Bummer.Guess I'm not a true perfectionist, eh? lol

Since installing the DLC I have also had this problem, with old missions too that I got 100% on before.

I'm having this problem, too! I can't see glass shards either, which is making vacuuming near impossible.

I'm having the same issue! As well as needing to remove an object that I've already removed. HELP so irritating

The gym is known to have such problems, to me at least!

Some of the trash falls through the floor when you start clearing it that's why we are getting stuck at 97%.

I will jump in and add I too have the same problem! I am someone who completes to 100% so this is driving me NUTS!!!

i got a problem with the grass turf when i put it down its not going up its saying 0% in stead of done doing my nutting now

I had same bug, my fix for it was to sell ground under stone floor's and this did it somehow.

There is a bag behind one of the fences that is the last piece of trash that you cannot get to, i am not sure what can be done about it unless you can no-clip or the devs remove that one peice.
