Is this a bug of some sort?I tried different settings for my controller to see if it's on my end and I'm unable to do link attacks or rotate my party formation when necessary no matter what.

I went back to check this with a Xbox One and Xbox 360 controller. Could you tell me what kind of controller you're using?

Right trigger works for character rotation and holding left trigger plus pressing an Exemplar button activates a link attack. You need to have full AP to do a manual link attack though. You can also do a link attack by doing a perfect block with one character and then using a different Exemplar right away.

I've made sure I have full AP during testing. I use a PS4 controller with a USB connection. I have tried with DS4Windows by itself and I only got the link attack to work,but the right trigger would pause the game.Then having Steam's Xbox controller support activated,both triggers will not react. I have the same result when I turn off DS4 and Steam with the PS4 controller support on,none of the triggers would work.

Got an update.

This is with DS4Windows only with controller support deactivated completely and it kinda works. As mentioned before, when pressing the right bumper would pause the game and pressing the button again would unpause and do the rotation. Shouldn't it be seamless and not interrupt gameplay?

It should be seamless. I haven't tried with DS4Windows, but my guess is DualShock 4 is registering both the pause button and the bumper button at the same time.

I checked this out with a PS4 controller and I updated with a workaround for DualShock4 controllers and other generic gamepads. Thanks for the information about turning DS4Windows off that gave me an idea how to solve this.

Just tried it with DS4Windows and Steam controller support deactivated again,I get a warning pop up about remapping software before the game launches but that's no big deal, and it works flawlessly. Now it should be less of a headache dealing with the boss at Duskrune Pass. Thank you for your great support.

Ok I decided to pause the game which I haven't for a while and it's disabled with this setup.

Yeah I had to disable pause for this controller setup since the button for pause on different controllers can also be read as R2. One option was to move pause to L3 or R3.

That would be a problem if we want to exit a stage. Is it possible to add button config in the settings so we can remap it ourselves?If not, I guess you add it on the Select button since it's also not in use.

I don't think we can add controller remapping. The issue with using the Options button on a DualShock4 controller is that would be R3 on an Xbox gamepad.

Hello.
I wanted to know : i use a DS4 (PS4 controller) when i launch the game.
Directly; not with a program ...
But where are the ZL and ZR buttons ?
Because i can't change my character space in fight and can't use the full AP technique.
Despite that, i still love the game and hope for the next one to come here too.

For DualShock4 controllers, the game looks at the controller like a generic gamepad. I think Steam controller support needs to be deactivated so L2 and R2 function like ZL and ZR.
