If you have any questions just ask. Have fun
Edit: I guess Wiht-Land is best to start in. The map has 4 towns.
You can chose any of the starts. If you want to have an easier start to familiarise yourself with things you might want to pick landlord, business owner or man's best friend.
Defenascir is an empty map. There are no markets to trade and no inhabitants either. Just the odd wandering traveller or soldier.
The 3 starts possible all start with an axe which is absolutely essential and also a leather pack and initial money. Money and other stuff varies.
Edit: Beggar is possibly the most challenging start as you only have a bit of food and a few coins.
I started as a Beggar on the new Dofras map which has a town but also lots of space to found new towns because it is a challenge. But based on my experience I didnt beg but gathered vegetables and fruits and caught fish. However, I would not advise it for a player who is new to Saelig.
Edit: Note that you want to stay healthy ie make sure you are well fed to increase your immunity. Avoid being hungry or tired or cold in winter (icons for stomach, energy become red) which all decrease your immunity and expose you to risks becoming ill.
U can roam around there sell at good prices , and try to use trading around this 4 towns to help coming up. I know the first trys are not that quick, but as i wrote u learn quickly , how stuff works. Just to learn how much of a difference it is to have a skill of 10 in Vegetable or 50 is a small but good experience about how the Skill really influences you.
When a new player whom I dont know asks I have no idea what kind of frustration tolerance s/he may have, how old she is or how much experience she has with computer games. I therefore give advice for an easier approach which is more likely to result in an encouraging experience.
