But often it’s purely down to time. Basically before they get married they need to form a relationship. The more they like someone the more they talk to them. This builds a relationship that usually results in marriage. But if everyone is always working with hardly any time to chat this can get a bit complicated. Stars have to kind of align.
I’ll note it down to think about. Hopefully I can think of a natural way to increase the chances of relationships developing to that stage.
Maybe working together could give a relationship boost?
I tried to have him work together with several singles at my alehouse to increase the chances and realized pretty fast that nothing changed :(
He was rarely talking to anyone... the rest of the time was either spent at his house, foraging places or my alehouse.
Everyone else I fired is still single as well, though several married couples moved in.
It would make things so much easier if I could introduce him to a few people, arrange blind dates so to speak. :`)
Edit: I sent my savefile, just in case.
I gifted his sister a hut and she's suddenly regarded as his lover (90 relationship points) as well, there was no flirting involved.
Very odd. I cannot reproduce this incest. Are you able to send me a more recent save?
I understand now. Fixed.
