Is there a cure for the plague?

Keep getting the plague. I've tried eating (well fed) sleeping in better beds (well rested) consumed herb tea and balm and sat in the church and prayed all to no avail. Still end up dead.
Is there a cure for the plague or is it just game over?

If you keep well rested, well fed, and warm in winter there *should* be next to no cha 've of getting the plague. If you never go hungry or tired but still get the plague that'll be a bug.

Praying is the only cure, but it is extremely uncommon for it to cure you.
