Defeated the goblin Mecha twice, but achievement not unlocking

Tried 3 different controllers, they work fine in the start screen but don't at all in game. 2x wired and 1x wireless. Both work perfectly fine in other games. I had the exact same issue with Hollow Knight, and from trying to fix things there it seems that there is some problem with unity/xinput and 3rd party controllers. I tried playing with just the keyboard, but it was too awkward for me. I am sorry, but I've had to refund. If the issue gets fixed, I'll re-buy....

I have watched a couple videos and it seems like there is no manual save only when you come back to the hub, is that true, any changesto that coming if so?

Interesting game. I watched some videos and some on screen texts are really tiny. Is there an option to scale the text?
