It is with a heavy heart that I say that it seems to be guaranteed that the game has been completely shut down. The alpha that only a small handful of people were invited to, myself included, hasn't received an update in 2 years, the Just Us channel in the discord has been officially deleted and there has been zero activity on both the facebook and the youtube for Just Us. Also, the dev Eel has not responded to anyones questions in the discord regarding the status of Just Us, and it seems as thought he is focusing all his efforts on his programs and plugins he has been developing.

With that being said, the game is officially dead. It had some VERY promising ideals and planning, but it seems it became too much and Eel/Hulken has moved on.

1) speechless... but don't misshunderstand me, i'm talking about some people and their attitude, not the dev: do you have the faintest idea of ​​what it means to produce a 3D game of a certain caliber? and to build one totally single handed too? try yourself if you think you can do better.
2) some people, for the mere fact that the only thing they can do is defecate... well, they measure everything with that yardstick. but the reality of things is "a little" different. try to help the artists and devs instead of mortifying them, maybe we will have a little more finished and released products and a little less abandoned stuff. simply my thoughts.

Are you talking about me or the others on this post? I for one have been along side the dev since he started, offering my own assistance as I do game testing for a living and was offering my services completely free of charge as I know what I'm doing as well and have been doing this job for little over 12 years. He declined because he wanted to do the game on his own. I respect his decision, the only thing that bothered me was he completely dropped everything without any notice to those that were following the development of the game and were looking forward to it. Eel is a fantastic dev as I use some of his plug-ins for a game that I personally have been working on solo for a few years now in my spare time.
I completely respect Eel and his developments, I was simply disappointed in how he handled the fanbase when he stopped working on the game.

Was in the alpha too but Hulken has been dead silent for so long about Just Us.
It's a shame it didn't get more love but i think the dev is busy with his job and the plugins he's developping.
Years have passed and he probably moved on other ideas and just dropped the game. That's how things go.

When he removes all information pertaining to Just Us, including all discord channels has essentially gone completely silent about anything related to Just Us. Just because he says it's not abandoned, doesn't mean it isn't. His words say it's not abandoned, but his actions have shown otherwise.

Not judging anyone's disappointment or feelings of being ignored, but maybe he has personal issues, a mortgage , children, a death in the family even an illness that changed his perspectives in life or halted his ability to work on just us, maybe in 1,5 or 10 years he might start again because life will allow such a thing, maybe he is sick of everyone messaging him about the game, I don't know, I think he owed the people he chose for closed alpha an explanation and answers, I have always been fascinated by just us and wished it out by now but i can still wait :) anyone who played closed alpha how was it ?

He could come on here more often and post.

Ah a guy up his own ass I see.

1) No kidding we all have an idea of game development, but what people are wanting is news, info etc that's all

2) You don't say, however if the dev actually communicated with people that are willing to give him money and essentially rich to some degree, people would be a hell lot more on board, however the whole silent treatment is just bad all around.

Reason why people are pissy is simple, few years and the developer hasn't updated us, nor has he taken the page down so people don't know if the games still being worked on, abandoned or whatever else that comes to your little mind
