It will be close to $20 when released in EA.
They did this in Epoch dayz mod for Arma 2 and Exile for Arma 3. Really really makes building bases easier with your friends. (The main thing I've missed in both Ark and Dark and Light).
Yes that's currently how it works in my game aswell, both you and your friend will see the green mesh before placement :)
Here's a quick demo, just for you!

Wohoo. you have one customer now at least :D
You will be able to havest other things from animals besides just meat, like what you mentioned, hide, for example. Depending on the animal of course, I also have things like bird houses for feathers to craft arrows etc.
Fish bait is something I have written down as something I want to include aswell, thank you for your input!
- building : players have opportunity to build structures wall by wall. There are different types of roofs, doors, walls, etc including 3 or 4 tiers - wooden, stone, metal, and some superquality. You can upgrade them if you have enough resources for the next tier. Buildings can be destroyed.
- radtowns/supply drops in a survival game, that would be cool to see some radtowns or abandoned cities/villages. For the bigger radtowns players need a specific clothes (rad suit). In radtowns players finds components that are need for making specific items (like car engine parts maybe?) From time to time (for example once a 3 hours in a multiplayer server) an airplane drops supplies. Supply drop includes high tier items that can be also found on radtown.
- player transport different types of transport - bicycle, bike, boat, car, truck, and maybe small airplane?. Only truck and car can be used to transport chopped trees or farmed ores. Car and boat on your YT video looks great. Car or Truck should be a late game thing to use. Not for everyone unless You spend alot of time in game.
- crafting workbench might be a thing here. Crafting takes time, more for higher tier items so workbench that also requires resources to be made can speed up things a little bit.
- player interaction Some people are good, some not. Some people can be friendly, some wants to steal your hardly farmed (or found) loot. In a multiplayer server people will group up. Trading menu, raiding stuff (like c4, rockets, whatever else) can be a solution for choices: be a good man or be a bastard ;)
- biomes there are 4 types of biomes: rainy, desert, snow, normal. Of course weather changes in each biomes during the time, but some of them are mostly rainy, sunny etc. Each biomes gives players different type of few kinds of special resources. Players can trade or fight for them as above. Moving to other biome requires for example some sort of different clothes as you can get cold for example. You choose biome you want to live on. For those we need a big map.
So that's my quick thoughts about my personal perfect survival game. I have much more. If interested please contact me via steam. Btw, game looks great so far. Love the music too! Cheers!
Thank you!
I can add that feature, just for you ;)
