Good for Achievement Hunters

This game is so much more of an experience than a "game". It toys with your emotions and causes you to actually think while playing it, coming up with new theories and actually feeling empathy toward the characters. I loved it.

First off I would like to start off and say that I love mystery visual novels, so when I saw this on new releases, I was overjoyed. I would call this a game since you can interact with your journal which contains clues and other important information. The game has taught me some important lessons about life and I greatly enjoyed the story. What I loved the most was coming up with my own theories and trying to figure out who was the killer as the novel progressed. GREAT NOVEL, and I am looking forward to Episode 2 from you guys!

While there is barely any interaction (And by interactions, I mean games like Dating Sim Games or puzzle solving like Professor Layton's series), the storyline is really well made. It starts slow, yes. But once you get to the plot of the story, it just pulls you wanting to know what will happen next. And even without interactions, you can still try to put the clues together yourself if you pace yourself reading it all.

If you're into detective, mystery, and figuring out a contradiction on someone's storyline, this game is for you. Just keep in mind that if you are a fast reader, this game will end up shorter than you think.

The character art is good but the story isn't good. It is free so if you don't read, watch and play a lot of good detective/crime books, tv shows/mini-series/movies and games then you might be ok with the story.
It's a badly written Sherlock Holmes style 'how did the killer get in and out of a locked room' story. The only interaction is choosing in which order to question the other people on the ship and the order doesn't matter.
I also don't like the photo through a filter backgrounds.

Simply amazing storyline. I love it. Beautiful art, it's really intersting to look at. At first I though this game had involved making choices. It had said, "Can you solve the mystery before Detective Butler reveals the answer?" Even without the choices it was amazing.
Could choices be added? I know it's a lot to ask, but it could make the game more interesting. Maybe for future games. For exampe, possibly a choice at the end where you decide to untie the ropes. Maybe there could be a choice where you don't suggest it and she could get out anyway? I don't know. For mystery and action games like this, making choices and chnaging the ending slightly would be cool and fun. Maybe Butler could be impressed with your ability to find the culprit/s before he does.
I love this game and I know the next one will be even better! Thank you for making this game, haha. It was a lot of fun to play.

It's released free, so no complaints there. If It was paid, it would've been a really bad purchase.

It's a visual novel in the truest sense - you're just reading what's shown to you. I expected at least _some_ interactivity, but guess not.... at least until you get closer to the end. Sticking just two instances like that was a bad decision - because it made me think that they _could_ have implemented proper interactivity for some gameplay decisions, but deliberately chose not to.

In terms of implementation, it's acceptable. The animations and artwork are ok. The interface is not. I got halfway before I actually figured out how to access the journal. Advancing through the dialogue was a chore. You had to click/enter/spacebar multiple times to read through a single dialogue box. And the keys are sometimes not responsive, requiring even more clicks/hits.

The story, which is the most important part obviously, is unfortunately very weak and poorly planned. There's a lot of glossing over (or downright misunderstandings) of how a cruise ship really works, how corporate bigwigs are really like, how large corporations really work, and how wills really work.

The dialogue, which is the other important part, is unfortunately rather plain and uninteresting, and it quickly became a chore to click through to them (remember: multiple button presses per dialogue box) - so much so that I ended up irritated by the time of the obligatory twist in the last chapter and the unnecessarily drawn out epilogue.

This game has a decent duration, with a lot of dialogs and bonus elements contained in the Journal.

I did not think the murderer was this person but anyway, at least it proves the game has a plot twist. Quite easy to read, without pervert or sexy screens / characters so anyone could read it.

Is long even if you skip, that being said ,would skip again for 100%!
