SS3 no multiplayer game?

how come the multiplayer doesn't work at all?

Multiplayer for Sudden Strike 3 was handled over Gamespy, a service that does not exist anymore. So as this is a classic re release, we cannot give any support on multiplayer.

I understand that it isn't hosted anymore by GameSpy. However on Steam Sudden Strike 1&2 are not listed at Multiplayer but Sudden Strike 3 is listed as having multiplayer feature. I am excited to play these games again, but Steam should not have false advertising.
