Yesterday, I was very interested in this game.

Today, having seen the publisher cowar and scramble to apologize to the tiny fraction of society that constitutes the SJW element, people who are not gamers, instead of telling them to ♥♥♥♥ right off, I have lost nearly all of that initial interest.

The sooner publishers figure this out, the better. The people who did that crap are those who literally just want any excuse to be outraged. If Tim wasn't someone to tweeted about Gamergate 4 years ago, they would've just found some other reason to attack him.

They just can't stand success and will try to tear anyone down that has it more than them. They ARE the epitomeof the bitter, selfish 6 year old child who is spoiled beyond any belief, but instead, they're adults and in no way emotionally matured after hitting that mark of 6 years of age.

Realistically, if Tim wasn't pressured by Microsoft (it's fairly obvious that's what happened.) nothing bad would've really happened, jsut they would have gotten alot more sales.

But now that they have, I'm not going to buy it, unless the apology is retracted. We need to stop being sorry and apologizing to these absolute losers who have nothing better to do than to hate on a dev who just simply has a vision he made a reality.

The sooner we stop being sorry and the sooner we stop apologizing for doing what we WANT to do, the sooner we can disinfect the gaming industry of the progressive cancer that is Social Justice.

To be honest the controversy doughy quilt kicked up has actually made me want to play this now, as when I first saw it I just dismissed it as another pixel art game, but the core concept of a post-scarcity future and the social fallout has got me interested.

If you play the game and you do so for a long-ass time, much longer than anyone else, then people really should care what you have to say, a bit more than usual.
