Tormenta's brutal, no beating around the bush. Even for me, and I've played this game like 8 times, but I managed to do it after learning its patterns enough times.
-Don't use energy for phases you don't struggle with. Save it for the harder ones.
-Some of the battlefields are kind of cramped, don't let yourself get cornered into a spot where you can't avoid damage.
-I always prioritized killing the heads (with energy), and dodging the fists.
-The circular phase is a ♥♥♥♥♥. Kill the heads as they spawn and keep an eye on the thing in the middle shooting at you.
-Stop using Anxiety Shock on enemies it doesn't insta kill, stick to missiles for those.
-For the giant eye, just aim your cursor straight up / down and SPAM SPAM SPAM. Doesn't matter if you're aimed perfectly, as long as you don't fling yourself away from it. I don't remember getting attacked by fists as I was attacking the eye, so no comment on that part.
-You say you struggle to find time to heal? Maybe you're playing too defensively with the shield?
-If you think you need more salt, head back to the city. You should find someone.
-If you are at your witts end, enable unlimited energy and just go to town on the thing. Don't even give a ♥♥♥♥ about what other people would think, this is YOUR playthrough.
I know a lot of people struggle with Demyx from KH2 because his mechanics demand skill that was otherwise not demanded up until that point in the game, much like Tormenta is. You need to change your play style, and really put to the test everything you've learned on this adventure. But you already knew that, didn't you?
This is me, but with one correction. It's not "rest of the game" but "rest of the bosses". They are too easy compared to the rest of the game. Clearing some rooms gave me more trouble than every base game boss.
I think a boss that takes excellent advantage of this game's unique design is the Warden. It's entire premise was traveling through a large room while avoiding an infinite range laser attack (and all the other enemies along the way). Oddly enough I think Tormenta is harder, but I find myself dying to the Warden much more often. How interesting.
