Chest in the dreamlands

Okay I'm stumped, how do I get to the chest in the lower right hand corner of the room filled with chests in the dreamlands? There doesn't seem to be a way to jump the distance to get to the salt.

I walked to the enemies that are on the other side of the map, made them follow me and then when I was above the place where you want to jump I just let them hit me to gain some extra height and then I could reach it. I let them hit me again when I wanted to get back.

I just watched a 100% video on YouTube and it turns out you can just use the skull tower missile to give you the damage boost rather than needing to lure the enemies. I tried it and it worked.
