Hardest mission in Sudden Strike Forever

So i finished Sudden Strike 1 yesterday, which was quite a challenge. Started with the Add-On today and i find the add-on missions brutally hard, even on the easiest setting.

The first mission of the usa campaign already gives me lots of trouble but i doubt that it is already the hardest mission of the add-on campaigns.

So which one is the hardest mission?

I've finished most of the missions in the first game but have never finished the add-on campaigns. I think the mission you describe is brutal as the enemy have you in range of their artillery guns and the village you are trying to take receives a constant stream of reinforcements. Unless you can take out the enemy guns I'm not sure you can win this one

Yeah,the American add ons are tough.For the first mission, you need to first retreat into the very corner of the map and establish a defensive position where the german artillery can 't attack you. Also you have the riflemen to make a large minefield. Then you use your general and sniper to harass the Germans in the southern side of the target town. The German will then start attacking you from North.After a successful defense, you can choose to attack the northern open field(recommended because of more ammunition) where there are four 150mm howitzers or the south eastern high ground where there are also four 105mm HOWItZERS.And then use the howitzers to literally destroy the town. You have your general for scout ing purpose.You can see through everything if you use your tank to destroy all trees.

The second mission is even tougher. You need to attack and occupy the factory which locates north to two adjacent high grounds.Unfortunately you once again have no artillery support. But first you need to establish two defense lines. A VERY STRONG German armoured division will start attacking you from the northern open field about 45 min after the mission starts. You need to first destroy all trees north to the small town that you occupied in the previous mission and defend the town. Use the riflemen to make a huge minefield and assemble all of your at guns to the small town. The German heavy tanks can only be stopped by those AT guns. During the combat, you can use some useless sub machine gunners to do suicidal counter attack because this can attract the German artillery. I recommend using pause function so that you will have unlimited time doing those boring stuff.
After a successful defense,another German armoured division(weaker than the first one but still too strong for weak American tanks) will attack you from eastern side of the town. Just put your tanks and infantrymen on the high grounds,they will all die because they don't have vision.Then you need to attack the northern open field. There are lots of trees that block the vision so better destroy them... Too long for a discussion post
