Plenty of phish in the sea

I know its supposed to be a randomish achievement, but I feel like I have the worst luck then, its one of the couple I have left, I have 209 hours and still haven't gotten a single one. Most people I have commented about it have said like the 2nd or 3rd area is when they got theirs. I'm almost done with the 5th area and will have unlocked the rest of the achievements. Is there anything that will help? Like spamming the refresh button in the mail?

Have you been checking randomly? You will not get a notification for spam like you do with the blood stone emails.

I don't know if it is time, level or chance based, but on steam I've only had 2 spam mails in 400+ hours, one was a villager lamenting on their groundhog style death every day, the other was a zombie protest.

I'm also about to have this as my last achievement left for the game, Does anyone have any idea on how to help with it? Leaving the game offline for a long time, leaving the game online for a long time, checking on the game frequently, not checking on my mail frequently, none of it seems to help me.

I was in the same boat as you, but I just checked my mail every time I checked on the game and eventually found one. After that, I probably saw 7-8 more during my time with the game. It seems to be completely random.
