My Shank won't launch.

I install the game and i double click the icon, and then nothing. Can anyone help?

same thing for me, was just wanting to play this morning. Says, preparing to launch then nothing... And shank 2 just app crashes...

The game says its corrupted when I try to play.

I would just delete all the files and reinstall it. Steam keeps track of your progress.

Same here and I gave up hope that anyone will fix this. "Shank" is an unpleasant surprise when it comes to installing it on a Mac, let alone get it running. First there was this "cannot install" issue for weeks, now it's the "corrupt" data.

And now it's back to "Windows only" (marked with the Windows flag, not with the Mac icon any longer; also says on the shop page: "OS: Windows XP/Vista/Windows 7").
Well, thanks for nothing then. Won't pay twice only because the game is available via Apple's AppStore. "Shank" ain't the center of the universe. Nuff games to play instead.

I bought the game just because it was on the Mac OS.
Why do I need a game, if it does not work. I want your money back or get a replacement

Same issue -- OSX also! There are no files in the Library\...\Common\Shank folder. Please help! Valve needs to be more active with support. Gamefly is looking good!

Well it's in the Canadian Bundle, posted today, with the Steamplay icon, advertised for use on Mac. I'm getting tired of games posting that they are available on Steamplay (Shank, Super Crate Box, Torchlight 2) then pulling it back to "Windows only" AFTER they realize it doesn't work.
