So, how you all enjoying the Oiks compared to Zup series?

Hard to ask questions of the "experienced" players, if your not allowed to talk to them... .02

So, my question nutshelled....

* How are you all liking O1 and O2? How do these compare to the Zup games?


I'm hoping that the majority of the Oik puzzles are as or more challenging as the more "difficult" puzzles/levels are in the Zups, the few that there are.

I enjoy the Zup series for what it is. I'm into physics puzzlers.
I plan on continuing to buy the Zups, provided the puzzles continue to have some challenge, somewhere in the packs. :) I don't mind the Achievement generosity, but that isn't a selling point to me. Some complain that the Zups is simply a "pay for achievements" game and a cash grab. But again, I enjoy that series for what little puzzle challenge it provides. Well worth the pennies I paid for them.

$1.65 for both O1 and O2 is a good price, GREAT for a new series.

So, were they worth the $1.65 to you? Should you have waited for an indie bundle down the road (if it is ever likely to happen)?

I think the Oik games offer more interactivity than Zup! - instead of clicking on the correct blocks; in Oik you are mainly required to interact with several blocks, balls and ramps to create a chain the in the hopes of landing the blue block successfully in the zone. I like both games but I'm surprised this one isn't more popular. It's sad to see that many are just branding it a clone - I think it's more of a Zup-inspired game that does things a bit better in places.
