Screen glitch issues. Please someone help. PLEASE

Script, or anyone at this point that can help me solve this issue. I've played the game once through and unlocked awakening mode. But the second I closed the game and opened it up again the formatting or display issue glitched out. I'm seeing a screen that has the entire menu compressed into a white circular O shape and being unable to select any of the menu options.

Any blind attempts to change the resolution have resulted in just a smaller screen with the same O shape that I'm facing. Only times where it doesn't glitch is if I'm able to access, with great difficulty btw, the options tab or credits. The minute I exit them I see the same issue.
The only exception to this problem is if I forcefully change the display on my computer from Landscape to Portrait and only that works half the time.

I've tried uninstalling, Deleting entire save files, settings and verifying the game twice but nothing seems to work. If anyone has a better solution than simply playing the game entirely in Portrait mode, please let me know. I'd be truly grateful
