Is it a good game?

I'm tempted to buy it, but I have seen the mixed review and read some of it. How different is this from the demo, which runs like magic? Is the gameplay fun? The combat in the demo was rather nice, but finding how to use some of the functions is aweful, like inventory, or key ring (still don't know the button for that)

Well, I can’t compare the demo with/against the game, but it is/was fun to play. And it is on sale right now, so it is definitely worth the money! Inventory is awful and the game overall is still a little rough around the edges, but that was fine with me.

Honestly, from what I can work out, the key-ring is so you can check the keys before adding them to the ring which keeps them forever. I think it's so you can check the keys as you collect them and know which doors they're for instead of just expecting you to know already.

I'm really enjoying my time with the game, got 8 hours so far trying to search around for the collectibles. The dev, Nathan, has been really good at looking at suggestions and trying to work on them (check his pinned topic).

Honestly, I'd say to give the full game a try and see how you feel with it. I certainly think it's worth buying. If it's not what you're looking for, you can refund it.
