Stuck at menu

I’ve changed my resolution up to 2k and now the game is stuck with a flickering main menu. How can I reset the resolution back to default?

Hi, I'm really sorry you're having issues!

Currently resolution settings are a little unreliable! I'm working on it constantly but in the mean time if the graphics settings get so out of hand they need resetting entirely you can just delete the GraphicsSettings.sav from C:\Users\Nathan\AppData\Local\WelcomeToHanwell\Saved\SaveGames\*.*

Deleting that file fixed it. FIY you cannot edit this file to set resolution

i deleted that file but still,i cant even start the game. and it all happened after i change the resolution. please help

Sometimes after deleting the file the game can hang for about 30 - 60 seconds on launch. Eventually it should pop in and start working.

Hmm, damn. I don't actually have a way to test it but it should launch on your display in it's native resolution and ratio as long as that file doesn't exist. However there is something else that might be happening.

Try turning off Steam Cloud Storage on Welcome to Hanwell (Right click on it in your library, then navigate to "Updates". Uncheck "Allow storage synchronization for Welcome to Hanwell" and delete the file again.

Once the game launches, you can turn steam cloud back on if you use it.

Seen some strange starting in windowed mode and then after some long time go into fullscreen with the menu not working for quite a while, i run in 4k bit native resolution is 5k. My monitor is an hp z27q 5k connected to a nvidia based quaddro card.

I'm having a similar problem. I can not access ANYTHING on the menu. It loads the menu up but NOTHING is accessible. On first launch of the game, I attempted to optimise it for my system by setting as many things as possible to low, but when I returned to the menu, the whole thing became unresponsive. I have even attempted to uninstall and reinstall the game, though even that fails to fix the problem.
