Cant get Sky UI and SKSE to work.

Before you say anything, yes I followed the reddit guide that tells you to put the Data folder from SKSE into vortex, yes I dragged and dropped the other files into the Skyrim VR folder, yes I am launching the game from the SKSE loader, and yes Im using the SkyUi version from github. I literally have less than 30 mods loaded so it should be working, in the game start, it just says "SKyUI needs SKSE to work correctly!" while Im literally launching the game FROM skse. I have SKyrim VR tools installed. I also cannot see my hands and body with the HIGGS mod.
Can someone help?

You need to use SKSEVR instead of SKSE.
From skse.silverlock.org, get the one that says "Current VR build 2.0.12 (game version 1.4.15)"

mod with multiplayer skyui skse higgs and vrik doesn't work for me but I have the same problem as you it just doesn't start although the mod should work
