How do I power attack?

I’m trying to power attack but no matter how I swing or what buttons I press I don’t seem to power attack.

Well I am playing with a ton of mods, but I believe by default it is the same as normal attack except you hold trigger when you swing. It isn't very obvious but the biggest giveaways would be the grunting sound that you character makes and whether it is draining your stamina.

Seems a bit weird at first but this way you get consistent control and you don't break your controller by swinging wildly.
