Obviously it does because I can run it with a 1650 with a quest 2 getting atleast 60 fps so I don't know what you are using to gage and state it's not strong enough because I know for a fact it's strong enough because I do run it with a 1650 with a quest 2 getting atleast 60 fps like I stated and no I'm not trolling

The software (that says its not powerfull enough for VR) is correct however.

Reprojection is not meaned to be used permanently. Its a fallback method, meaned to bridge a couple seconds of bad performance at maximum.

60 FPS is (officially) not acceptable. It means permanent reprojection. I mean I play SkyrimVR with 60FPS too, but thats the only game I accept this.

A Quest 2 display can be set to 72 Hz, wich means, every hardware that can garantee that you do not drop below 72 frames per second except in very rare cases, is ok. Everything else is not.

Couple years back the headsets only (means no other option) had 90Hz. So the demand was: stable 90 frames per second in 99% of the time or "not VR ready".

The HTC Vive that was released in 2016 had the GTX 970 as the "Minimum spec" to run that VR headset as far as I recall.

EDIT:
So technically, you use in 2022, a GPU for VR, that would, in 2016 be "not VR ready". :-D
The 1650 is powerful enough to run is I ran steams VR test on my computer that has a 1650 an according to Steams own VR test my computer is VR ready and I know that oculus quest 2 get 72 fps on the regular which I do I was saying that I never went below 60 fps and that was because I was streaming so on average I do get the 72 fps and on the oculus quest 2 and my computer that has a 1650 according to steams own VR readiness test my computer is VR ready so unless you want to argue with steams VR test you are wrong

Well it runs fine on my 1650 (Oculus quest 2) Just run Steam VR Test before buying anything in yellow can run this game.

When I ran the Steam VR test with my1650 the test was in the green

Did you make skyrim look like a blended mess cause thats the only way I can imagine it running on the 1650... That or you use no mods but still i doubt youd get 60fps but hey I guess anything is possible...

Also just checked and the 1650 is not even supported for link and you say your using a quest 2?

Oh here we go again with the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ yes I have a quest 2 and yes I'm using a 1650 and yes according to to steams VR test my computer is VR ready as in it's in the green even my neighbor who gave me the quest 2 watched me play Skyrim VR and squadrons using the quest 2 with no problem so don't tell me that it's not possible

People need to get off their high horses and stop thinking you can only run things on the latest technology and if it more than couple years old there's no way possible it can run

3070 runs skyrimvr with a heavy modlist fine. I'm using a Pimax 5k which is EXTREMELY taxing for VR, but with a modlist of 131 mods, it runs like butter (Game does crash quite a lot though, but probably because my modlist is not setup correctly at all XD)

I used to have a 1650, and I couldn't even run Oculus Home, much less any actual VR applications... I seriously doubt it, not gonna lie. But even if you somehow do get it to run, you likely won't be able to handle mods, which are practically essential to get an actually fun experience, imo.

I am using a 1650 and the game is running smoothly for me with mods so I don't know what issues you were having but all I know is that it's running smoothly for me with mods

1650 should be fine, ran this on my 1080 with not much trouble with a good modlist, put it at 55 fps or so, not optimal but runs.

I'm just saying, myself, the OP, and almost every other poster here says that it usually doesn't work. OP had to get a new GPU, as did I when I had a 1650, because it literally doesn't work. Maybe you have a 1650 Super, which is supported by the Quest 2, but the regular 1650 isn't. Not like this matters much, though, as OP already has a 2070 which can actually run the game.
