I will pay someone real money to mod this game for me
ive tried following all the guides and doing everything I possibly could. Im just about ready to give up. I am not too good with modding. In fact, I have never tried this hard to mod a game before. Usually, if it doesnt have mod support on the nexus and requires me to mess around with files, i forget about it. This game is different. I want to get it right so badly, But nothing i do seems to fix anything. Ive done what youre supposed to with the ini file, ive downloaded the sksevr and tried launching skyrim through there and it doesnt work. I dont know what im doing wrong here.

No need to pay - there are free guides in the guides section of Steam, and wabbajack lists that autoinstall modlists for you if you'd prefer to go that route as well. Keep at it.

have you already tried using Wabbajack or these new Vortex "Collections"?
through I do not know if Collections does the full thing (ini files and dyndolod etc)

I have no experience with it either (modded old school) but I read that Wabbajack is super easy and does all the work for you, including setting up your ini files and install Xlod gen and Dyndolod.

Here is a video that compares several VR compatible Wabbajack lists to each other:

I was able to do it. I ended up using wabbajack. It took a while, but im pretty happy with the results. Thanks for your help!

I've checked out Wabbajack before, prior to getting SVR, and it looks like there are a LOT of steps to perform before even installing Wabbajack, like manually creating new folders and things. Is that true, or do you just download the manager and it works?

I've never used it. I installed hundreds of mods manually. I just know tons of people love it.
