I got the black book and enter Apocrypha. At the end the book should offer a choice of rewards? But you don't see anything and you have to read the book from inventory to return. So what now?

I just finished this and remembered reading a post about it and though I would post my results. I was able to open the large book at the end of the area, then aim into the air to select a reward.

The open book should spawn some floating glowing orbs. Reaching out to each gives a written description of the reward.

On a reload the book actually was rendered. I pointed in the air above it as ChevyNoel suggested and it worked. Thanks!
