Is there any way/ tool to display FPS in or out of game?
I want to start adding a few mods until I see my FPS drop below maximum in places like riften before I start a playthrough, but I cant seem to get anything to work. Ive tried shadowplay, Fraps, and the steam overlay fsp counter, but so far I havent seen any of them display fps in VR or on the desktop Skyrim window.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Cheers.

Do you have an oculus? There’s the debugtool in the oculus program folder, If you select “performance” in the HMD display drop down you will see fps

There's an ENB version for SkyrimVR. You can disable the postprocessing features (and also the fps cap, more importantly) and just use it to check your framerate. It'll only show on the desktop window, though.
