Which taa settings do I need to edit in skyrim configuration tool?
One guide I looked at only said to edit ftaasharpen to around 5.0000 from the default of 1.0000. Other people are mentioning the postsharpen, postoverlay, high frq, low freq,etc..

Help me out. Which settings will actually help reduce the taa blur, but still prevent much jaggies and shimmers? There are too many conflicting guides out there, which makes me suspect some placebo might be involved.

See my previous comment... Editing the INI does not change anything, you need to use the console.

The configuration tool is set to read only so that skyrim doesn;t revert the changes. After launching and exiting the game the values are still there.

In the configuration tool, yes, but not in the game...

Open the console in-game and type:

taa help

then you can see the actual values.

Actually, now that I think about, I'm not noticing any differences when I'm changing values in the tool. I tried swtiching from ftaasharpen 1.0000 to 10.0000 and it looked the same to me. Maybe you are right. WHat even is the use of this tool if it doesn't work?

I don't want to use any mods in my first playthrough, nor do I want to open the console each times. AAARgh!

I can't open console from within headset right? I have to do it on keyboard?

The tool seems to work for every setting but the TAA.
I have no idea why but that's how it is until an update, maybe...
I cannot recommend at least Dragonborn Speaks Naturally mod highly enough.
If I could only have one mod, DSN would be it.

To use this mod would I have to remove all my current mods from skyrim special edition? I read a post about how they would conflict because of the way you have to trick skyrim vr to using se mods.

You could just install it manually (and the .dll loader needed too)
no need to use a mod manager.

Oh awesome. Will it work with vive mic? I'm using the deluxe audio strap.

Same set-up here. Works 97% of the time, gets a bit better if you go through the Window's Speech Recognition training from your control panel.

Can I use it just to change my taa? I don't really want to use it for dialogue at this time.

Yes, but you're missing out. I thought it'd be really stupid to be talking to my game but I was so wrong.
I use it to equip and change between all my weapons and stuff. I rarely open any of the menus during a dungeon.
It does take a bit of fine tuning with its own INI file to get it set up.

Oh my goodness! Can you use it to change spells on the fly? I'm currently rolling a pure mage.

I promised myself that I wan't going to burn myself out of skyrim like other times by spending hours tweaking stuff, but I might have to make an exception. I'm just worried about how hard it will be to set all of this up. Are there any good guides?

Also, what would be the console commands to enable the configuration tool taa to take effect in the game? Or do I need to set them all up again?

Sorry for all these questions, but you got me intrigued.

If you're not on the beta of Skyrim, you can use it to equip stuff you've put in the favourites menu.
"equip flames left" etc.
I use custom commands like "sword and shield I want to wield" just because it's more fun.

Read through all the comments on the Nexus then I'll be able to help if you're still needing it.

Thanks. I'll test it out after I get back from the movies later on. Just out of curiousity, what are the console equicvalents of the taa ini settings? Or how do I enable my config tool changes to take effect in skyrimvr through the console (without voice commands as well)?
