can i move my skyrim vr save back to skyrim se to play outside of vr.

i have finally got into skyrim thanks to the vr version after owning all 3 pc versions it took vr to hook me. but i cant be dealing with being limited to continuing my save in vr only.

Heard it can be done, but involves some tinkering. Both games will probably need to be unmodded, or have nearly identical mod lists for the least problems..

Suggest doing a search on the method, an see if it's worth the effort :)

i dont use modsduring a serious play through, i ended up sending my save to someone who recreated it on se for the mmost part, some rng differences but im happy i finished mq companions and civil war stories, thane of 4 cities

Possible. But unofficially. The latest version of SKYRIM SE cannot read the save VR. And for this you need to download the old version 1.4.2.0.8. and saves will be appropriate. But there is a problem. After loading the save, screen rotates. Medicine: Skyrim In VR should be stored near the door. And in Skyrim SE enter it. When you stand on your feet for a long time in VR you get very tired and switch to SE. But be careful. No achievements.

this worked. and yeah i tend to just play skyrim vr sat on the sofa now, took a little bit of fiddling with room setup with the height but i have started to continue my vr save on se. i really love this character i created, in daedric gear he looks amazing.
