This is what I’ve heard too. There are other less demanding mods to achieve same.
Lol my 1080Ti is handling the game with ENB just fine thank you very much.

You’re welcome. What ss setting?

Personally, I found the performance hit with ENB to be a bit too much on top of my mods and 200% SS. 1080ti/4970k.

I use a combination of Claralux:

https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/2371/

And Imaginator:

https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/4577/

These give a ENB-ish look but without the heavy hit on frame-rate.

You have 5 ss while everyone else starts chugging after 2 with same card? Something doesn’t add up.

Define "just fine". Your subjective opinion is it's fine, but you are in fact reprojecting a lot if you're using super sampling, and ENB.

super sampling? max?? you're so full of it I your eyes must be brown.
Mines set to max as well. But with no ENB

Fine for me is 60FPS+ almost all the time with the occasional stutter. My SS slider is all the way to the right, my ENB is set of for looks, not performance. Definitely getting 60+ in exteriors with occasional stuttering and 90+ in interiors.

I think by max they are meaning the in game ss max which is 2.0. Not the steam 5.0. Even so i imagine they are getting some reprojection going on with an enb. I wish i was one of those people who can ignore reprojection. Had to ditch so many mods i really like to get a constant 90.
The 3d trees one for example. Looked amazing in game but tanked performance.

Those mods you posted look interesting XmisterC. It amazes me how much time you can spend browsing through mods on nexus and yet still see stuff you have never seen before posted by other people.

IN GAME SS max?? Ya, that's a different story and not a big deal. You should be using OTT /SteamVR advanced settings ( depending on if Rift or Vive). Also 60fps is not fine for VR. 45fps ASW is arguably ok, but 60fps is most definately not.
I have been reading and done some testing, and as it is for now, the ingame SS is actually better thatn the steam SS. Try it yourself!

There is no difference between the Steam SS settings and the 'in game' SS settings, they both simply pass instructions to the game's renderer to set the level of super sampling. The Steam SS settings are just passed to the game on startup as a multiplier which in conjunction with the 'in game' SS setting determins the final SS level to be rendered.

Try and lower the ingame SS to minimum and raise the steam SS. It will not look the same if you do it the other way around...
Game runs buttery smooth for me, sorry it doesn't for you.

You said earlier you were getting 60 FPS with occasional stuttering??? That’s not buttery smooth. And if stuttering outside of combat, it is certainly worse when combat involves a few combatants making aiming difficult if not impossible. All because you want steam ss at 5 and ingame full? With enb yet? Stuttering at any level is unnecessary and immersion breaking.
