I had to enable the console by adding "allowconsole=1" in my skyrimprefs ini file. I also did the whole enablefile thing for mods.

I can't use console commands that are supposed to target npcs such as "removeallitems" or "setnpcweight" anyone figured this out?

Its the same as normal. But a tad more difficult. You need to make sure you clicked the target with the mouse out of vr in the window on your monitor. That means having them in the view while using the keyboard. Not sure if there is an easier way but it works, I had to use target commands a few times.
