File should be called SkyrimVR.ini
yeah the path is well known, but i haven´t tested SkyrimVR.ini w/out Custom in it.
thx for the reply, i´ll test it right now
nope unfortunately doesn´t work for me
[VR]
fVrScale=78
bAllowVRCheating=1
I disabled bAllowVRCheating after trying it, though. Changing fVrScale is an absolute must imo.
What does the fVrScale do?
i´m still trying to autoexecute the custom bat file (i created) trough the .ini...don´t know what i´m missing. i named the bat file "go" and it contains following command:
TAA hf 0.000001 (which removes TAA almost completely without making the HUD invisible)
when i type it in console it works, but autoexecuting the file via .ini with sStartingConsoleCommand=bat go
simply won´t.
It scales the world to be a little smaller.
I'm unfamiliar with that option. I'm very new to Skyrim generally. Sorry mate.
You can achieve the same result by editing SkyrimPrefs.ini to turn off TAA and change the 'ComfortModeSize' to 1:
bUseTAA=0
fComfortModeSize=1.0000
bComfortModeWhileMoving=0
bComfortModeWhileTurning=1
Basically turns off the effect without really turning it off, so the UI doesn't vanish.
sorry but i don´t get the relation between anti aliasing and comfort vignette or comfort mode?
would need a bit of explenation, pls
Well, as you know there's a bug when you disable TAA and switch both the moving and turning Comfort Modes off (the UI vanishes).
So the solution is to leave one or both of the Comfort Modes on (I left 'turning' on in the example above) and get rid of the black vignette effect itself.
Basically "fComfortModeSize=1.0000" makes the black vignetting effect invisible. The effect itself is still enabled, you just can't see it. So you can disable TAA without the UI vanishing.
damn i was a bit late there XD ...of course thx mate!
I read that SkyrimCustom.ini only ever worked in Skyrim SE, but seems like it doesn't work here.
same thing here. cl off would be nice to have
