BUG: House Of Horrors (No a different bug)

Hello, Everyone

I have reached the end of the Hourse Of Horrors quest line and have Logrolf trapped in the cage at the alter. I agree to beat him into submission . However. I can't seem to damage him. He does not respond to being damaged by the mace, as if hes not being hit in the first place, no feedback. I can attack others easily enough, poor Serena. I just can not damage Logrolf. I checked online and found info on the several other glitchs with this quest but nothing like this one. Anyone know what happening?

The problem is melee doesnt hit through the cage, so the mace doesnt work at all.
The solution is to use something that can bypass the cage. I used the basic fire spell, flames. The Daedric spirit didnt care at all and rewarded me.
