Which voice commands mod?
There are few of them and I have no idea which to choose. Way of the Force is newest and most supported but instalation is much more complicated than others. Who uses one of those mods, which one and why?
I also thought about this one:

I use Dragonborn Speaks Naturally , partly because it was the first one I downloaded, and partly because I have a custom INI set-up for it that works flawlessly for equipping all my weapons, items, spells etc.

Talking with NPCs is not something I'd ever imagined myself doing in Flatrim but it's turned out to be the single most immersive mod I have for VR.

DSN has a function to use phrases to equip stuff from your favourites menu but that is not working on the 1.4 update yet so awaiting the mod to be updated for that - I already had a custom INI set up so I don't rely on the favourites functionality.

If you're playing a mage character, it might be better to install both WOTV and DSN as this will give easier access to all the spells.

DSN gets a massive thumbs up from me, though.

Way of the Force is soooooo hard to install and setup though and it didn't work at all for me after following step by step instructions. Probagly because DSN doesn't work at the moment?

Dragonborn Speaks Naturally has now been updated to work to equip favorites--no setup needed, just say "Equip X" (or "Equip X Left" or "Equip X Right") and it just automagically works if it's on your favorites menu. I also tried Way of the Voice, but it seemed very picky and didn't work well for me even after doing the voice training. WotV seemed to get things right (at best) 50% of the time, DSN gets it almost every time.

Skip Way of the Voice, get Dragonborn Speaks Naturally: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/16514

Thank you, gonna try that.

Dragonborn Speak Naturally. Now thet SKSE has been released, it works with the latest released version of SkyrimVR. It blows me away how good the voice recognition is. I don't have to repeat commands, I say it once and it gets it right. Actually talking with NPCs is like freakin' magic. I name all my bows that I enchant and saying "Equip DarkStar" and it appears in my hands is priceless. If I want to change arrows I just say "Equip Orcish Arrows" and the arrow instantly change to that.It even works if I mumble or whisper the commands! It's a whole evolution over VR. It's what I dreamed of since I started playing RPGs in 1982.

Wait but there is nothing about SKSE requirement on mods page. What are you talking about? It only requires dll loader. Also why there is nothing in desctiption about favorite select support? Does it work like:
"Firebolt both hands" or "Firebolt right hand"?

You don't need to have SKSE installed, it includes the SKSE components it needs; it just didn't have the favorite support until SKSE updated to work with the latest version.

At least for spells, it seems to default to both hands, and you trigger it by saying "equip." So:
"Equip firebolt" gives you firebolt in both hands
"Equip lesser ward left" gives you lesser ward in your left hand

This is awesome, it actually works pretty well. What I wish it would do is partial recognition so if you say orcish bow it would equip the one you have in favorites, even though it has 5 words in it's name or something :) Still I'm really surprised how well this works and now I wonder why would I even bother with Way of the Voice and it's terribly complicated installation and setup if this works that good and hopefully it will gain more options in the future :)

I've just submitted a code change to the author of Dragonborn Speaks Naturally that allows the phrases for equip favorites to be customized and makes it easier to use with Valdicil's Item Sorting. I hope he'll accept my changes...

Do you want to know if and when a new version comes out? No idea. Totally up to Cuebit, the author.

About the features I added: Nothing special. Just a way to add alternative texts to the .ini file and replacement rules. So if you don't like the way you have to call out for some equipment, you can change the text it reacts on.

Much easier to use Voice Attack and have a favourites list set up for it. This allows you to create you own voice commands instead of having to remember someone else's.
You then only need to create a macro of keypresses to select the item from the favourites list for each command you use.

The only drawback is that you can't add anything more to the favourites afterward or it re-arranges the list, forcing you to create new macro's for everything.

If only someone could create a mod to integrate Voice Attack into Skyrim so it can do a search for the relevant item instead of taking it from a fixed list.
