I've tested with the two mods i mentioned. Instead of a "bubble" which is blocking my view, it's just clinging to my skin which totally solves the problem without having to modify the Hit Box to "null".
More tests!
Increasing the high does not solve anything at all you always look like a midget when you play sitting.
Disabling physical stealth doesn't fix anything either.
I'm not sure that BETHESDA will do anything but perhaps a mod or .ini file tweak will be able to fix things.
I am short in real life (5 foot). I play standing a bit then when tired sit on my day bed.
The following link will help you set your world scale . This helps so you are not so daaag short (ie playing sitting down in real life)

My ini at present has this:
[VR]
fVrScale=84
This is perfect for me at 5 foot. (i am used to looking up just a bit to peeps) When in game standing I can go into the vr option and set my slider to midway . This puts me to about the same size as the wooldeves and that works for me since i am short in real life.
When I get tired and want to sit in real livfe I just go into the game setting and set the slider to almost all to the right. This keeps my eye level the same . I am playing an imperial so the height is fine for me.
I will go into my ini and change it so I appear taller if I decide to play as a Nord or an Orc. The nice thing about adjusting the world scale is that does not make you feel like you are floating. I can look down in VR and place my controller on the floor and it matches the ground in VR. I did have a problem before when I was just adjusting height in the ini to make me taller when sitting, as it did make the ground level off (like i was actually floating 2 feet off the ground)
You can play with the number to find a fit that works perfeclty for you. I originally had the ini set to 78 but that did not allow me to easily swith back and forth in game (sitting vs standing in real life) so after a few adjustments 84 is prefect.
Hopt his helps a bit for your sitting while playing.
I used fVRScale in the old version myself, but it's no longer required in the beta.
Have not opted into beta yet but have a question, Does the height slider also adjust your ground so you do not have that floaty thing going on? Also, all your mods ok in beta if you use them? I will probably still use the scale as everything seems so blocky and huuuuge in game without it. (would like to add world scare in game that would be great.)
I'm not sure what you mean about the floating thing. You don't see your feet, so when looking down, you'll always seem to float above ground... Or maybe I'm missing your point?
Only way to describe it is the floor would be off even after setting proper floor in Steam Vr and Occulus when I tried to adjust height to taller in game before adjusting world scare. If I put my controller on the floor or tried to "touch" the ground in game, my hand would feel my real floor, yet looking in game the controller would be resting about a foot abouve ground level visually.
I know the floor setting was right, because if I placed my controller on the floor in real life and looked at it in Steam VR,( without Skyrim running) ,the controller was exaclty at ground level.
