Is it possible to hotkey the favourites menu in vr?
Is it possible to hotkey the favourites menu? I know there aren't many buttons on the touch controllers, but maybe a stick direction + clicking it?

it has a favorite. mark an item as a favorite. while ingame, click the center of the right vive controller.

yeah, but that just opens the favourite menu right? That still requires me to pause the game. I mean instantly switch between weapons

Exactly, if we could have hotkeys we could have Voice Attack.

I know we can use VoiceMacro, but everytime I try to say "Flames" steam Vr opens the welcome program and closes Skyrim. No other voice Command works for me.

On WMR you just click the left trackpad

if you use the bethesda archive extraction tool, you can get to the controlmap.txt file, which you then have to add back into the <game installation folder>/data/interface/controls/pc folder. Looks like the bindings for hotkeys in this VR version were removed, but it should be pretty easy to add them back in again. I just did this, but my Vive controllers are dead, so I won't be able to test it out for a little while. You can use the VR version of the folder to also customize the vive controller layout, as pointed out in another thread earlier today.

this mod looks pretty awesome btw.. going to try that out later also. From reading the comments on there though, doesn't sound like the hotkeys work there though, which we obviously need to get voiceattack working correctly. going to test out the control mapping solution now.

just adding the bindings did not solve the problem for me. I can assign a spell or whatever to a hotkey in game, but if I press that key, it still doesn't activate. i do see that the bindings are assigned to a toggle group in that file though. I'm going to try to delete that goup and test again in case the whole goup has been hard toggled off somehow. My controllers keep dying though... need to actually let them charge this time. will report back later today... prob should get some actual work done anyway.

Voiceattack would be amazing!

Yeah it seems they've broken the activation of the hotkeys, though not the assigning of them. Shame, guess I'm back to waiting for SKSEVR to do any sort of quick slot tool.

There's a slightly clunky method described here using a different voice macro tool:
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/14091

Personally, I'd prefer VoiceAttack, and I think it should be possible to optimise it quite a bit - removing the need for any files outside of the VoiceAttack profile, and using fast input so all you'd see is a momentary flicker of the console (I don't want to hide it entirely as it is useful for other things).

I'm going to try to put together a profile tonight to select between banks of equipment (having too many voice commands reduces accuracy/reliability, so just a handful for favorite spell/weapon combos would be best IMHO).

As far as I can tell, nobody has found a way to use Favorite keyboard shortcuts yet, but the left/right actions and shout keyboard shortcuts/mouse buttons are still active. If that's the case, as things are now it should be possible to use VoiceAttack to:

* Equip spells/weapons and/or shouts (probably using pre-defined sets; could be all possible ones individually as in the linked mod but I think that is a pain).

* Use a voice command to perform a shout or a specific spell, switching back to the last one afterwards (as selected by voice using a VoiceAttack variable).

Unfortunately I can't see a way to consume potions yet - that's the one I'd really like to be able to restore health/magika/stamina during combat as seamlessly as possible.

Voice Attack would be far better since we could personalize and add many more commands, but I am using VoiceMacro to equip spells and it's really amazing. The downside is that I got all spells from the start.

Here is what I did:
