You swing with your primary hand. It would be impossible to use two hands and move if you were forced to use both hands :P You can't use the other hand for anything however.

They work well. There is a cooldown on how often they can do damage, but the reach and damage is superb. I have no idea how to power attack though....

Power attack by holding the main hand trigger while you swing. You should see your stamina drop when doing this and you'll know it's a power attack

You have to use one hand for all weapons. But I'm pretty impressed with how they work, so far. I might report back later after I've actually spent some time in the game. I've spend almost all of my time so far figuring out how to set this thing up and play it in style. This is cutting edge stuff right here, pretty much the only full length VR open world RPG. It's just not going to work the way you want right out of the box, at least not yet.

if youre using the vive you can do what I do for a more realistic feel and insert the first remote into the second remote through the top hole and hold both like you have 2 hands on the sword. Feels awesome to swing.

Very intersting. I shall try it.

Bringing this thread back for a question about the OP subject. Has anyone else encountered two-handed power weapon attacks draining way more Stamina than they should? Despite having 200 Stamina and the reduction perk I basically get one PA per combat before I am exhausted.

I am using the Ordinator Perks, VRIK, and MageVR mods if anyone knows if one of those has that effect.

There is a bug with every version of skyrim that can cause weapons to power attack twice, draining double stamina but dealing damage twice. unfortunately there is no fix.

I use the mod "Simply balanced" to reduce the stamina cost to the intended value, and reduce the damage to compensate for the extra hit.

Two-handed weapons do more damage than one-handers. Using one helped save my hide against my first unscripted dragon encounter by sneaking in more damage after each breath or snap.
