hmm how to pick wood for campfire?

im using this campfire complete camping mod https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/667

though,, it says i need wood to start a fire.. but i have no clue how to get that..
going up to a tree gives me nothing. dont know what im missing here..

Did you try using a chopping block to get firewood? You will need a Woodcutter's axe.

well there is a options "get wood" takes 1 ingame hour.. now i have 40 woods, Still when i try to make the campfire wich takes 4 wood.. it says i dont have wood at all -_-

i dont have an option to place a campfire ring. i just have option to get 2 kinds of wood and then make a fire out of them.

Thanks man, that fixed the issue. i had like 40 wood but no "stones" to put on the ground option. that link gave me it lol. <3
