Any way to widen the mirror screen?
For streaming purposes, I'd like to be able to widen the mirror output so that it's at an aspect ratio that fits a stream better, rather than the 2:3 ish aspect ratio left eye output. Anyone know how to do this, or output a wider area to a twitch stream?

Using an Oculus if that matters.

download the OBS OpenVR input plugin. It's on the OBS website. Then you enable it in OBS, add it to the sccene. options of the plugin - crop 16:9 full screen and you're good to go. You don't need to game capture if you just add the VR capture instead. Good luck.

C:\Program Files\Oculus\Support\oculus-diagnostics\OculusMirror.exe

This will give you a better mirror for recording.

Both of these seem to work fine, thanks!

The OpenVR plug in will give slightly worse picture quality than the oculus mirror but the oculus mirror will have weird distortions on the edges when you turn your head so pick your poison.

I tried both out and using the OpenVR plug seems to cause way less of a performance hit when streaming, seems like I'm going to need to drop ingame graphics quality with either option to maintain smooth gameplay though which is a bit of a bummer since streaming the game's built in mirror window didn't seem to cause any issues.
