Get Rid Of Spiders
Is there a mod that works with Skyrim VR that gets rid of / replaces the spiders?

This:

Or this:

should sort all those arachnophobia and entomophobia worries out.

Chaurus scare the living hell out of me but I leave them in the game - I do enjoy the occasional scare in Skyrim.

I mean you can replace them with bears.... but bears falling from the sky sounds terrifying.

*Has flashbacks of Red Alert 3*

You know it's a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ video game, right?

It does seem a bit trivial. Spiders have been part of fantasy rpg since the beginning of time. It’s vr, nothing is real

It's a phobia... his amygdala can't reason any more than yours can. Regular arachnophobia can be quickly deprogrammed with pharmaceutical assisted therapy, though that therapy might not hold up against elephant-sized spiders in VR.

I don't know, the size and fantasy style of them could make it easier to dissassociate them with real spiders rather than cut out the phobia altogether (Which takes a long time). If one is trying to get 'past' it. I would say facing these would actually be starting 'small'. A real spider of those sizes however, I don't think you need a phobia to be concerned. The fear would probably be warrented lol.

But there are options to swap them anyway.

I like how people actually think it makes a difference. Its the shape of a spider which triggers an irrational fear in arachnophobics, which makes the heart beat fast and give you panic attacks. Real Spiders are also most of the times completely harmless, aswell as those in video games. So it makes no difference if its real. And a elephant spider in VR is arguably more disgusting than a 1cm one in my room.

So at the point where you go at people who have an irrational fear, you're either arguably stupid or just entering the realms of hypocrisy. I mean at a point you probably watched a horror movie or sth like that and felt that it was at least somewhat "unpleasant". But thats entirely irrational aswell. Freddy and Jason don't exist, so why would anyone be scared of them?

I hope you realized, that your point is completely shortsighted and (no pun intended) pointless...

You don't need to own a VR headset to know how unpleasant it feels to look down over a cliffside. Real or not, you're going to get some weird feelings because of the difference that depth perception would make. How many people do you think flip their ♥♥♥♥ because Cicero is partially dressed like a clown?
