MOOving Dead Buddies?

Okay so it's supposed to read as 'moving dead bodies' ... just being (funny).

Pretty much from what I've found, Bethesda (for some lame reason) has removed the ability to move dead bodies!? We can move everything else, just not the bodies. I have my reasons for wanting to do this so please do NOT plague me with questions concerning why I'd like to have this ability again in VR. With that said...

I have scoured the web and couldn't find any helpful code lines to add to the SkrimVR.ini nor the SkyrimPrefs.ini.

I was hoping someone has figured this out and finds this post and saves the day!

PS: I am using MOTION CONTROLLERS and not a gamepad

I grabbed this mod for moving bodies in VR although I have not gotten the spell yet in game.

I used to like looking at their lack of under-pants back in the day,,, tgat was before I had a decebt video card and thought, damn these men need to wipe their butts or something. Butt now I can see that they are actually wearing pants.

I already have the Telekinesis Spell. It's cool but costs way too much magic. I am really hoping someone has figured out the line of code instead of resorting to a mana-hungry spell.

In a Solstheim quest you need to move a body over a grating - the only way I found to do so was to use the first word of Unrelenting Force to push it in the direction I needed.

You can push corpses around with an equipped shield or by grabbing some other object and using that to push the bodies.

Look guys, unless you know the code please don't respond. I think that by now most people know about the tricks. If you don't know how to physically grab and then move the bodies then why are you wasting time posting? No offense, just saying.

haven't played in a few weeks but you can definitely move bodies. You have to hold one of the buttons forgot which one

Look, sweetie. There is no code for grabbing corpses, because the devs removed it so folks couldn't get their perv on with corpses in VR. They even broke a few quests in the process.
If you don't want people to tell you the workaround for what you want to do (for reasons you don't want to share), that you in no way indicated that you were aware of, then why are you posting?

Look sweetie... "NO OFFENSE" but you don't know what you're talking about. Don't judge me. It's more about piling up dead bodies in the streets, and posing them also more than it is about perv-i-tude. Watch your judgy attitude mmmkay SWEETIE. I'm posting because this MUST BE TALKED ABOUT and made right!! This needs attention from the devs and hopefully they'll add it back to the game as it should be. Obviously I'm not the only whom this concerns.

Roleplaying as Pickman in Skyrim would be much easier if Beth would enable this feature.

BTW if you are a stealth player, you might want to move a body you just backstabbed out of line of sight so patrolling enemies don't see it and aggro.

You might want to move bodies that all died stacked on one another (like in a doorway) so you have an easier time looting.

Might want to move a body that is glitching in the wall and causing some issue.

Maybe you roleplay and want to stack and burn bodies (undead or vampire, or a funeral pyre) whatever.

All I'm saying is that it doesn't take much imagination to realize that there are a lot of useful non-hentai uses for moving bodies. I for one, hope it gets a fix or mod at some point.

I think they removed the feature because for whatever reason the geometry goes absolutely crazy when you move the bodies.

Isn’t there a quest that requires hiding a body in Riften or Solitude?

I think there are a few quests where you need to move dead bodies.
For those you have to rely on the methods others have stated above such as using your shield
