Ah OK, I had about given up on that mod, and it was peeving me off as that looked like the best mod ever.
Thanks for taking the time...I'll d/l them and put them in the mod folder as you suggest. Thanks again!
I use SMIM - it has some of its own textures but it's best to put this near the top of the dependency scale , then set other textures to load after it.
So for the tools that are included with vortex like loot, sseedit etc... how do I activate them, or has loot been working behind the sceens without me having to do anything, and my load order is good to go?
load everything you now get after SMIM.
I didn't like Realistic Water 2... So switched to Beautiful Waters instead:

Yes, Vortex auto-sorts mods as you instal them so no need for LOOT unless you're having a specific issue.
MO on the other hand, uses a virtual file system to make the game see the files in the data directory. To do this, the game HAS to be started through MO. This is not required if using any other mod manager.
Right, that is actually why I asked because when I had MO2 installed it said I had to start through it, but that just leads to all kinds of vr problems as vr needs to start a certain way to work properly as I'm sure you already know!
Thanks again for all you help, and handholding bro, you saved me countless hours of stress and confusion!
