How to: mod the crap out of skyrim vr

Hey friendly fellowers,
i´m downloading the game right now and heard that i have to mod it to be worth playing.
Could someone please give me some instructions on how to mod this game,
and what mods are necessary?
And yes i am aware of google but the search results were far from easy to understand.

i recommend body replacers like cbbe, hair replacers and children replacers like TKAA. tkaa does make children small adults though so excercise restraint if you install adult scenarios as there wont be any guardrails. still wandering into dungeons and having the kids of the residents around and also defending their home adds much more immersion.

my last playthrough i made it my mission to adopt all the orphans i made. i have so many kids in my castle

Haha. Yes. A friend of mine did the same. I had to warn him to be careful cos you can end up spending all your time installing mods and never playing the game!

Have you downloaded any mods or is your VR Skyrim game default?

You`re right. Alternate start does NOT work with VR. It says it right there if you go to the Nexus discussion page. I don`t have that mod so didn`t know.
Good work spotting that.

i wish alternate starts did work properly. i'm sick of that neauseating jostle into helgen. even if the alternate was just hopping off the cart at helgen
