Play valve's "the lab." Play a native VR game in your preferred genre and try to get your VR legs for smooth locomotion. When you know what a VR game is supposed to look like and do, then get FO4VR, because it is the best VR game (according to my play hours).
is this what you're talking about?
I don't recommend a wabbajack at all especially starting out. Yea, sure it's easy, but you'll get all kinds of stuff shoved in that you may not like and can your Pc handle it, especially in VR which is doing twice the work of flatscreen? This is why PC specs are important, be interesting to know what VR you went for- is the HP Reverb G2?
I would have simply taken one or two hair mods alone, made sure they work in VR, and go with that and as your experience increases move up. I also recommend a good eye mod which makes NPCs and any Followers appear more `life-life` since you'll be up close and it won't tax your VR.
