"Touchpads are the future" -HTC
"Everyone hated non-motion Xbox controller only, so that means Wii controllers are superior to Xbox controllers" .. -Oculus
"Touchpads are so versatile" -Valve.
Don't blame pimax for cloning what everyone else is doing they are a chinese knock-off making low quality products to push a bigger FOV than any other headset with alot of compromise on eye comfort in the case of this 5k+.
Blame HTC, Valve and Oculus for refusing to cut an existing gamepad standard in half.
Which in turned fractured the entire controller support eco-system across the entire VR gaming landscape. That's typically what happens when you try to break the standard for no good reason.
