Scopes are way off and not usable.
Been searching for several days now amd can't find a answer for this issue.
Whenever I try to use a rifle with a scope, the scope and rifle are pointing in two different directions.

If I line up the scope on something, the rifle is pointing almost straight up in the air. Lining up the rifle and going to the scope, I'm almost looking at my feet.

I am using FRIK, tried the calibration thing several times, tried a couple scope mods from Nexus, ended with scopes that didn't work at all.
I haven't tried any of the scoped pistols yet but the "normal" reflex sights work fine.

Just delete Frik, after I deleted Frik, all my rifles and (my personal rifle in my pants) started pointing in the right direction

Thanks, I was hoping it wasn't due to FRIK. I really like having proper arms and hands and REALLY like the way the pip boy works. I will try it with FRIK disabled and see if it fixes it.

RollingRock16, the developer of FRIK, has stated he knows the scopes are off (and they are). The best results you'll get are with his Better Scopes VR mod combined with See Through Scopes (Combat, Reflex and Recon). All of those work, with only slight deviation, but they do work.

It's definitely a work in progress... it started with the 2-handed handling of FRIK. Considering how hard he works, this should be fixed in the near future. Sometimes the Bethesda code is a bit tough to work with, which is why he runs into so many issues.

Additionally, I love how he made the Pip-Boy easier to access, which is why I'm dealing with the scope weirdness, for now. My favorite weapon is the Overseer's Guardian, and it is useless in its default state... with the Better Scopes VR / See Through Scopes combination, I can get one of the Combat or Recon scopes (with the game zooming in when you bring the scope to your eye) to work with it but I strongly prefer the default scope (where it blacks out the rest of the game). Give or take, at the moment. But the Pip-Boy improvement is MASSIVE.

Thanks, I did try those but couldn't seem to get any of the scopes to work at all for some reason. I will try them again, maybe I just missed something.

FRIK is cool but it causes way too many bugs. I had to disable it.

It works... follow everything on the Nexus page. You have to modify an .ini slightly (I don't remember which one... did all the Fallout 4 VR config stuff about a year ago).

We should never forget the hard work modders put in (for free) to make games a lot better. Being a modder is a thankless job. People do it for the love. I can't thank all of these modders enough.
