Any tips on controls quest 2?

Bought the quest 2 for this game, however it runs like ♥♥♥♥. I'm using steam vr and don't understand the interface tbh.

I am planning on downloading some mods when I finally figure out how to do that.

For now does anyone have any tips on the controls? Because at the moment it's almost impossible to even move
